YAY for Ultrasound Pictures!!

Hi everyone, we got some really cute pictures of our little baby, altho unfortunately we didn't get to see any 3D ones (they are getting the new machines next month!! oh well).. we are doing good at 19 weeks.. baby is about 10 oz and measures exactly for the dates that I have.. which is due Sept 13. It was so amazing to see the little one, I could see the arms and hands waving around!! so with no further ado, here are the pics

The cutes little feet you ever did see :)

I know it's a little harder to tell on the smaller pictures, but baby is facing down (face down/stomach down) Use the spine as a reference.

You can see the hands and fingers (bones), maybe this one will be a piano player too :)

This is a neat picture of baby's face, looking directly at it..

Well I hope you enjoy the pictures.. and if you want to find out the sex of the baby, read the next post.. if you do not want to find out, don't read the next post!!

PS. and for Andrea's sake I am glad my In-Laws have high speed now.. I think you would have gone baserk other wise :) hahaha

****DISCLAIMER**** WARNING*****

****Do NOT Read the Following Post Unless You Want to Know the Sex of My Baby!!!****
I Warned You!!!
So I will update all of you curious people out there :) I was really excited to find out the sex, even tho I was not sure at first, now I am really anticipating the birth of my little one.. and first of all, yes I know that it is not 100% that they are right, I realize that.. and am willing to take that chance. Plus the Tech said it was a little hard to tell for sure since the baby is only 19 weeks and the genitals are still developing.. but she got a few good looks(and showed us too), and she says that I can go ahead and buy pink stuff :) we are having a girl!! I am obviously very excited about that, I think it is a good balance and I was hoping we would be so lucky :) I will post more info next so that those that don't want to find out with the rest of you can still be updated on my pregnancy.

The day is finally around the corner :)

Early tomorrow morning, by the time that most of you will read this, I will know if we are having a boy or a girl!! (hopefully if baby cooperates!!) I am super excited!! Right after my ultrasound we are also going out of town, so unfortunately I probably will not be able to update you guys for at least a week!! Sorry I know the suspense is killing all of you :) haha.. I will try and get in a post as soon as possible :) Hope you all have a good weekend!

I've been Tagged!

Stacey tagged me while I was gone (I spent Easter with my family), so here goes with some really tough questions!!

1. How do you acheive balance in your life?
Balance, what is balance?!?! I would not really consider my life overall that balanced, but I try to create some balance within each day. With my situation (my hubby working the oilfield) it is near impossible to make long term plans and I have to be able to adjust to changes in schedule from day to day hour to hour! Back to the question, I take control of the things I have control of (like eating 3 meals a day) and deal with the uncontrollable things as they come :) and try not to worry about the rest.. does that answer the question? I'm not sure
2. What is your biggest challenge in balancing your life?
One of the biggest challenges is the unknown! The unknown is such a big thing in my life and I have really had to learn how to not have to plan things, and if I do plan things I have to be prepared just in case things don't work out. I have also been struggling in keeping up on my spiritual life - it's so easy for me to put other things or people (my son) first before God or my time with Him.
3. What are your priorities?
What are my priorities or what should my priorities be?? Honestly my first priority is taking care of my son (I know, it really should be spending time on my relationship with God and all the other things would probably work more smoothly) and spending time with my husband working on our relationship/marriage when we have the opportunity.
4. Have your prorities changed over time, and why?
ABSOLUTELY! Well obviously without a husband and child, they wouldn't be a priority! When I was single I found it easier to work on myself and my spiritual life but with taking care of others I don't make the time to work on myself. I'm so busy taking care of physical needs that I tend to neglect the spiritual needs of myself.. which is not a good thing, because I want to be that role model for my kids but if I don't spend the time with God how can I do that? oh so much to work on I know!
5. What advice can you share to help all of us balance our lives?
Not that I model this, but really spending time with God is probably the biggest thing that will affect the balance in our lives - once we put God first the rest will fall into place, not saying that life won't be hard, cuz it always is, but we will realize where our strength comes from and who to depend on!

So who do I tag?? hmm.. I tag Susanna and Amy..

The Little One Made It!!

Congratulations

New Haircut and New Legs??

I finally cut Tristian's hair on Friday :) It looks so cute, and sometimes he reminds me a little of his cousin Blake and (sort of) cousin Cole.. here are a few pics
Yeah it looks like my boy is ready to cook :) He was actually hiding from me (I was 'gonna get him') haha.. There are some days that I wonder if my boy just got a new set of legs :) He's been walking since the beginning of January but he is so clumsy sometimes.. he totally doesn't watch where he is walking and trips and falls all the time.. he is always getting bumps and scrapes and bruises and marks.. but I guess that's all part of learning for him :) here's a good pic of a fat lip he got a while ago :)
