Photo tag..

Stacey tagged me in a fun photo meme. Here are the rules:

1. Go to the sixth folder in your picture files.

2. Pick the sixth picture in that file.

3. Hope you remember what it's about!

4. Blog about that picture.

So here it is...

This was this past summer (08) we had gone to Camrose for Kevin's Grandma's family reunion. This was the day that we went fishing with the kids and TJ found some other water to play in :) It was fun, except for keeping away the bugs :)

For the next part of this meme.. like the first, but you need to go into the fourth file and take the fourth picture :) Here goes..

LOL... this is great.. so, honestly I don't remember what this picture is about, but I can tell you a little about the photographer. He's about 3 feet tall and likes to snatch mom's camera while she's not looking.. You guess it, TJ is behind this unique picture.. it's actually kind of cool, he takes some really neat pictures of nothing but some of them turn out like this, kind of unique in an artistic kind of way :)

So I will tag a few of my fellow bloggers:

Michelle

Allie

Valean

Anyway, we are off today (hopefully) we are hoping to arrive at our destination in Saskatchewan around midnight probably, so hope all goes well, kids behave and the roads are clear :) This will probably be the last post until after the new year - so Merry Christmas everyone and all the best in 2009!!

Christmas concert practice

This year is the first time TJ is invovled in our Sunday School Christmas Concert - and I'm way more excited than he is!! It's so funny, I try to practice with him and there is absolutely no way that he will let me. He turns his head away or says "NOOOOOO" like I'm not allowed to say that poem. The other day I had to bribe him with a cookie in order to say his poem. The other day when I was on the phone with my mom, TJ had an interesting version of the poem... In order to understand the whole story, I'll let you know that when my parents came here for our early Christmas celebration with them, there was a big deal made with the fact that Grandpa's trunk was all full of presents! I have heard of this trunk full several times since then!

TJ's poem goes something like this:
A baby was born long ago,
Joseph and Mary loved him so,
The Shepherds came to worship and pray,
The Wisemen brought gifts from far away,
This baby was Jesus you see,
He came for you and for me

TJ's NEW version:
A baby was born long ago,
Joseph and Mary loved him so,
The Shepherds came to worship and pray,
The Wisemen brought gifts in the trunk!

Love you TJ!!
