Enjoying Summer Weather..

It's been so nice out these days, and it makes me so happy :) Isn't it funny how sunshine can make one feel so good.. So Kevin wrote his test and he feels pretty confident that he did well but he still has to wait another 2 weeks to get his results, ugh.. anyway we made it back home and I've been busy doing stuff. Yeah that's how it feels.. just stuff. On Monday I was all energetic and did laundry, baking, and sorting thro baby stuff (wow that doesn't sound like much but it sure kept me busy all day).. I went thro all of Tristian's stuff (clothes that are too small) and divided the clothes into 'boy' and 'unisex' boxes and created a 'new baby' drawer with 0-3 months stuff.. it was actually pretty fun going thro all of the little stuff, it's hard to believe that my boy was so small 1 1/2 yrs ago!! But as I am procrastinating now, I need to go and clean up the floor before my boy wakes up so that I can vacuum :)

I am requesting prayer for my DH, he is writing a test this afternoon that is very important to his career. He really needs this (and so do we as a family), just pray for calmness and the ability for him to remember what he studied. Thank you so much.. unfortunately it will probably be 3 weeks until he finds out the results.. and 80% is the pass/fail mark!

Tristian at the Grandparents (Baiers)

Tristian has been addicted to quads ever since he got rides at my parents place during Easter. When we went to Kevin's parents place in April, Tristian got to ride the plastic/battery opperated kids quad, the accelerator is a foot peddle so it was easy for him to ride. He just loved it and never wanted to go inside and was mad at whoever made him come in :)

24. DID YOU TAKE MEDICINE TO EASE THE PAIN? Oh yes.. as much as they would give me.. unfortunately they don't give epidurals here unless you medically need it, so I only got Morphine

22 & 1/2 week pic

I know it's been way to long since I've posted preggo tummy pics.. so here's one. You know it's funny I have really grown or 'popped' out like some would say, and yet it doesn't look like it that much in this pic. But I did gain a lot of weight these last 5 weeks!! I couldn't believe it that I had gained 7 lbs!!! Crazy.. altho if you look at the whole picture, it's not so bad cuz since I got pregnant I have only gained 6 lbs in total (cuz I lost weight a few months ago).. anyways here's the promised pic..

7 Random Facts and 1 Lesson

So here I am finally getting back to the computer, and I find out I've been tagged for this, this is hard!! But here goes anyway :)

1. My middle name is Denise.. as a child I remembered how to spell it by saying it was "de-nice" with an 's' instead of 'c' :)
2. I have become slightly lactose intolerant with pregnancy, which sucks cuz I can't eat all the ice cream I crave or if I do I pay with really aweful bloated/stomach cramp type feelings :(
3. I have a real hard time saying sorry, as a child I would refuse to say sorry, even though I told my parents that my tummy wanted to say sorry but I just couldn't.
4. When ordering pizza I love designing my own, one of my favorites is pepperoni, pineapple, feta cheese, onion, fresh tomatoe!
5. When pregnant with my son Tristian one of my favorite snacks to pick up at Mac's a block away was: sour apple slushies, wonder bar and French onion Sun Chips :) hmmm..
6. I used to read all the time like several thick (fiction) books a week, now I don't read any and I really miss it but I've been told that will come back once my kids are older :)
7. I love to dance and one day I would like to take dance lessons (like ballroom, tango or other classic type dances) but it would take a miracle to get my hubby out there!! :)

So now for the lesson, and its a gooder -

when the house gets really quiet for a few minutes, check on your kids they are probably doing something they shouldn't :) haha..

YAY for Ultrasound Pictures!!

Hi everyone, we got some really cute pictures of our little baby, altho unfortunately we didn't get to see any 3D ones (they are getting the new machines next month!! oh well).. we are doing good at 19 weeks.. baby is about 10 oz and measures exactly for the dates that I have.. which is due Sept 13. It was so amazing to see the little one, I could see the arms and hands waving around!! so with no further ado, here are the pics

I Warned You!!!

So I will update all of you curious people out there :) I was really excited to find out the sex, even tho I was not sure at first, now I am really anticipating the birth of my little one.. and first of all, yes I know that it is not 100% that they are right, I realize that.. and am willing to take that chance. Plus the Tech said it was a little hard to tell for sure since the baby is only 19 weeks and the genitals are still developing.. but she got a few good looks(and showed us too), and she says that I can go ahead and buy pink stuff :) we are having a girl!! I am obviously very excited about that, I think it is a good balance and I was hoping we would be so lucky :) I will post more info next so that those that don't want to find out with the rest of you can still be updated on my pregnancy.
